Write your own short story! It is simple.
1. You need to set the scene first - it is the first paragraph
Use Past Simple to say where are the objects and Past Continuous to say what were people in the scene doing.
It was a beautiful spring day. People were sitting in the park. Birds were chirping.
2. Then, you introduce a problem in a second paragraph and say how the problem was resolved.
You can use Past Simple and Past Continuous tenses to tell the readers what happened.
Then, out of the blue, a camel walked into the park. Everybody was surprised and nobody knew what to do. While the people were looking at the camel, the children there went close to it and gave it some leaves and grass. The camel accepted it with joy. While the camel was eating her treat happily, two men ran into the park. They were zookeepers from the local zoo. They put a rope around its neck and took the camel back to the zoo.3.In the last paragraph you write about the feelings of the characters involved in the story.
The children were a bit disappointed and the adults relieved. Our camel's short escape was over, but it wasn't unnoticed. The local newspaper and Internet portal wrote about it immediately with a big picture of our heroine.
